The TV anime adaptation of Kogitsune Kanekiru's Re:Monster spin-off, "Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead," has released episode #8 and announced details for episode #9. In episode #8, titled "Sushi & Hot Springs of the Dead," Akira's group encounters Beatrix Amerhauser, a German girl with a passion for Japanese culture. They assist her in fulfilling her sushi craving, and she decides to join their group after forming a bond.
In the second part of the episode, the group tries to relax at a hot spring but is interrupted by zombies, forcing them to spend the night in the woods. During this time, Akira and Shizuka share a moment in a natural hot spring, hinting at Shizuka's feelings for him. However, their peace is disrupted when Kencho and Beatrix join them in the hot spring, teasing Akira and Shizuka about being a couple.
Episode #8 marked the introduction of Beatrix, who impressed with her zombie-fighting skills and quirky personality. Her character brought a fresh dynamic to the series. With the first season of "Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead" coming to a close, Beatrix's presence is set to play a significant role in the remaining episodes.
