Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of My Hero Academia, unveiled the first complete look of Toru Hagakure, also known as Invisible Girl, celebrating the manga's 34th volume release. Toru possesses the unique Quirk of invisibility. During the "U.A. Traitor" arc, an attack by Yuga Aoyama partially revealed her face. Now, an illustration by Horikoshi presents Toru entirely visible for the first time.
Fans can see Toru Hagakure's complete appearance in the illustration shared by Kohei Horikoshi on his Twitter account. Traditionally, Horikoshi creates such illustrations, and this time, he chose to depict Toru and her classmate Eijiro Kirishima dressed as pirates, marking the first instance of Invisible Girl being shown without her invisibility active.
Previously, suspicions surrounded Invisible Girl as a potential traitor within class 1-A due to her ideal spy capabilities. However, Toru played a vital role in uncovering the truth, and the reveal of her face was a significant moment in the arc.
In another image from Chapter 368, fans were presented with a full-color depiction of Invisible Girl, sparking controversy as it portrayed Toru Hagakure in the nude, drawing criticism due to her young age. Horikoshi later apologized, stating it was not intended for publication and was submitted in haste to meet a deadline. Nevertheless, the colored image revealed Toru's hair and eye colors for the first time.
As My Hero Academia enters its final arc, the heroes confront the formidable forces of the villain All for One. While it may be late for more development, fans can appreciate this long-awaited full look at Invisible Girl, courtesy of Kohei Horikoshi.
