The Sousou no Frieren (Frieren: Beyond Journey's End) anime website announced two new cast members for the upcoming series. It's set to premiere on September 29 at 9:00 p.m. on NTV's Friday Road Show, followed by BS NTV and AT-X.
New cast members:
Flamme: Atsuko Tanaka (Fate/stay night)
Qual: Hiroki Yasumoto (Bleach)
Keiichirou Saitou (Bocchi the Rock!) directs the anime at Madhouse, with Tomohiro Suzuki (One Punch Man) handling the series composition. Reiko Nagasawa designs the characters, and Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) composes the music.
The anime adapts Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe's fantasy adventure manga, which began in Shounen Sunday magazine in April 2020. Viz Media licensed the manga in English and is scheduled to release the ninth volume on October 17.
