The Kengan Ashura anime series announced the premiere of the second part of its second season in 2024. A promotional video for the upcoming season was also released. Part one of season two recently started streaming exclusively on Netflix worldwide, featuring voice actor Toshiyuki Morikawa as Tokita Niko. The first season, produced by Larx Entertainment, originally aired in two 12-episode parts on Netflix in 2019. Kengan Ashura is an adaptation of Yabako Sandrovich and Daromeon's action manga, which ran from 2012 to 2018, with the final volume released in February 2019. The duo also started serializing the Kengan Omega sequel manga in January 2019, with the 18th volume released recently.
