The Berserk of Gluttony anime released its final trailer and a mini anime called "Mattari Kaisetsu: Bōshoku no Berserk," featuring character explanations of various skills.
The mini anime's first episode showcases Fate and Roxy. It will premiere on U-NEXT and Anime Hōdai on October 1, ahead of its TV debut on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS11 on October 4. Crunchyroll will stream it worldwide (except Asia and India).
Key cast members include Ryota Ohsaka, Tomokazu Seki, Hisako Tōjō, Misato Matsuoka, and Hitomi Sekine.
The series is directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa, with Mariko Kunisawa supervising scripts and Takafumi Furusawa designing characters. EverdreaM performs the theme songs.
Published by Seven Seas Entertainment in English, the story follows Fate Graphite, cursed with the "Gluttony" skill, which he learns to control as he seeks power.
The series originated on Shōsetsuka ni Narō, and the first novel volume, illustrated by fame, was released in November 2017. Daisuke Takino began the manga on Micro Magazine's Comic Ride website in April 2018.
