In a new crossover, the heroines from the 2022 anime "Lycoris Recoil," Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue, are transforming into Magical Girls in the "Magia Record" game, a spin-off of "Puella Magi Madoka Magica." You can catch a glimpse of their magical forms in the trailer below.

The collaboration kicks off on September 22 at 4 PM JST and includes limited-time and paid gachas for Chisato and Takina. Additionally, two events, "Agent Magica Magia Record x Lycoris Recoil" and "Chisato Nishikigi Birthday Celebration Login Bonus," will run alongside it, starting on September 23 at 12 AM JST. The collaboration will conclude on October 6 at 2:59 PM JST.

"Magia Record" originated in Japan in 2017 and was followed by a three-season anime adaptation produced by Shaft from 2020 to 2022. The game's story revolves around Iroha Tamaki's search for her sister in Kamihama City, featuring appearances from the original "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" characters.

"Lycoris Recoil" is an action anime set in a tranquil Japan, featuring teenage agents known as Lycoris working for the secret organization DA (Direct Attack). Takina, following a mission mishap, joins LycoReco, a seemingly ordinary cafe with secret ties to DA. There, she meets Chisato, the most powerful Lycoris. The A-1 Pictures production was directed by Shingo Adachi (known for "Sword Art Online" and "WORKING!!"), with character designs by manga artist Imigimuru (known for "This Art Club Has a Problem!").
